Please review our stay guidelines to help us maintain a peaceful and comfortable experience for all guests.

To ensure a peaceful, safe, and enjoyable stay for all guests, the following house rules apply at Shri Stays. By confirming a booking or staying at the property, all guests agree to comply with these rules.
1. Applicability of House Rules (All Booking Sources)
These house rules apply to all guests regardless of booking source, including but not limited to:
- Direct bookings (website, phone, WhatsApp, email)
- Booking.com reservations
- Airbnb reservations
- Agoda reservations
- Goibibo reservations
- MakeMyTrip reservations
- Any other online travel agency (OTA) or third-party booking platform
Important:
- While booking terms, cancellation policies, and payment processes may vary by platform, property-level house rules remain fully applicable at check-in and throughout the stay.
- In case of conflict between guest expectations and property safety, operational, or legal requirements, Shri Stays reserves the right to enforce on-property rules for the safety, comfort, and lawful operation of the premises.
- Guests are expected to comply with all applicable house rules irrespective of the booking channel used.
2. Check-in / Check-out
- Check-in: 12:00 PM onwards
- Check-out: 11:00 AM
Early check-in / late check-out is subject to availability and may attract additional charges.
Guests are requested to inform us in advance in case of:
- late arrival
- early morning arrival
- special timing requests
3. Valid ID Mandatory & Verification
All adult guests must present a valid government-issued photo ID at check-in, such as:
- Aadhaar Card
- Driving License
- Passport
- Voter ID
Important:
- The property reserves the right to refuse check-in in case of invalid, unverifiable, mismatched, incomplete, suspicious, or unacceptable identification.
- Unregistered guests are not permitted to stay.
- Local / same-city bookings or check-ins may be subject to additional verification and may be declined at the property's discretion in the interest of safety, misuse prevention, or operational concerns.
All verification measures are implemented for guest safety, property security, and compliance with applicable regulations.
4. Guest Count, Occupancy & Visitor Policy
- Only the number of guests confirmed at the time of booking are permitted to stay
- Over-occupancy is not permitted
- Extra mattress / bedding is subject to prior approval, availability, and applicable charges
- Unregistered / extra guests are not allowed without prior written approval
- Additional guest charges may apply
- Unregistered visitors are not allowed inside guest rooms or for overnight stay unless expressly approved by management
- The property reserves the right to deny visitor access for security and privacy reasons
- The property may refuse additional occupancy beyond booked limits
Unauthorized guests or over-occupancy may result in:
- extra charges
- denied entry
- cancellation of stay without refund in serious cases
5. Quiet Hours / Peaceful Environment
Shri Stays is a nature-focused, peaceful holiday home.
Please maintain quiet and respect the surroundings, especially during:
Avoid:
- loud music
- shouting
- disturbing other guests
- excessive noise in common areas
6. Parties / Events / Loud Gatherings
- No parties, DJ setups, loud celebrations, or unauthorized events are allowed unless explicitly approved in writing
- Group stays or private property bookings must still follow agreed noise and usage limits
- Any event/decor setup requires prior approval
Unauthorized events may result in:
- immediate stoppage
- security intervention
- extra cleaning / damage charges
- cancellation without refund
7. Property Care & Damages
Guests must treat the property, rooms, furniture, dรฉcor, linens, bathrooms, and outdoor areas with care.
Guests will be responsible for:
- breakage
- stains
- misuse
- damage to fixtures / electronics / furnishings
- excessive dirtiness requiring special cleaning
Shri Stays reserves the right to recover:
- repair costs
- replacement costs
- deep cleaning charges
- business interruption losses where applicable
8. Smoking / Fire Safety
- Smoking is not permitted inside rooms or enclosed indoor areas
- If allowed, smoking may be restricted to designated outdoor areas only
- Cigarette butts must be disposed of safely
- Open flames, candles, fireworks, bonfires, or hazardous items are not allowed unless expressly approved
Any violation causing smoke damage, fire risk, or odor may attract penalties and immediate action.
9. Alcohol / Illegal Substances / Prohibited Items
- Responsible personal consumption of alcohol, if permitted by law and property discretion, must not disturb others
- Illegal drugs / narcotics / prohibited substances are strictly forbidden
- Weapons, fireworks, hazardous materials, and items that disturb safety or peace are strictly prohibited
- Illegal activity or unlawful behavior will result in immediate removal and may be reported to authorities
Responsible conduct is mandatory at all times.
10. Pets
Pets are not allowed on the property.
11. Wildlife / Nature Safety
As Shri Stays is located near Rajaji Tiger Reserve and nature-rich surroundings:
Guests must:
- avoid venturing into dark / isolated outdoor areas unnecessarily
- not feed wildlife or stray animals
- not litter
- supervise children at all times
- follow staff instructions regarding outdoor movement and local conditions
Shri Stays is not responsible for incidents caused by ignoring safety guidance.
12. Children, Minors & Supervision
Children are welcome, but the following rules apply:
- Guests below 18 years are allowed only when accompanied by parents or legal guardians
- The property may refuse unaccompanied minor check-in
- Parents/guardians are fully responsible for supervision at all times
- Parents/guardians are responsible for safety near stairs / outdoor areas / roads / natural terrain
- Parents/guardians must prevent damage or disturbance
Unaccompanied minors will not be permitted to check in or stay at the property.
13. Cleanliness & Waste Disposal
Please maintain cleanliness in rooms and common areas.
Guests should:
- use bins properly
- avoid littering in outdoor/nature areas
- avoid damaging plants / landscape
- inform staff of spills or issues early
Excessive mess or special cleaning needs may attract charges.
14. Food / Meal Availability / Kitchen
Important Note on Meal Availability:
- Meal availability, if any, may be limited and may depend on in-house arrangements or third-party partner restaurant availability
- Menu, service timings, pricing, and availability may vary
- Guests should confirm meal availability in advance if important to their stay
- Tea, coffee, and basic kitchenette support may be available on request
If meals or food arrangements are provided:
- Meal timing may need advance coordination
- Special dietary requests should be informed in advance
- Outside catering / bulk food / BBQ / cooking arrangements may require prior approval
- Unauthorized kitchen use or unsafe cooking is not allowed unless expressly permitted
15. Personal Belongings
Guests are requested to keep valuables secure.
Shri Stays shall not be liable for:
- loss of cash
- jewellery
- electronics
- vehicles
- documents
- personal belongings left unattended
16. Parking
Parking, if available, is at the guest's own risk.
Shri Stays is not liable for:
- theft
- damage
- natural causes
- third-party incidents
17. Right to Refuse / Evict / Cancel Stay
Shri Stays reserves the right to refuse check-in, restrict access, cancel the stay, or require guests to vacate the property, with or without refund as applicable under the booking terms, in cases including but not limited to:
- invalid or unverifiable identity proof
- rule violation
- over-occupancy beyond booked limits
- unauthorized visitors or guests
- nuisance or disturbance to other guests
- intoxication or disruptive behavior
- suspicious or unlawful activity
- safety risk or concerns
- property misuse or damage risk
- abusive or threatening behavior
- non-payment of applicable dues
- non-compliance with staff instructions
18. Liability Limitation
Guests stay at the property at their own risk, subject to applicable law.
Shri Stays shall not be liable for:
- indirect or consequential losses
- missed travel plans
- activity disruptions
- weather-related issues
- wildlife-related risks when safety guidance is ignored
- third-party operator failures
- events beyond reasonable control
Nothing in these rules excludes liability where such exclusion is not permitted under applicable law.
19. Acceptance of Rules
By booking or staying at Shri Stays, the guest confirms acceptance of:
- House Rules
- Cancellation Policy
- Any booking-specific written instructions shared by Shri Stays
By booking or staying at Shri Stays, guests acknowledge and agree to comply with the applicable house rules, safety requirements, and booking terms communicated by the property and/or the respective booking platform.
